I overthink, A LOT, it's incredibly annoying and unless I am physically ill, my brain is always churning, it's never silent and it can get stressful to the point of physical exertion.

Overthinking is like having a second version of you sitting in your head constantly pointing out your flaws, second guessing every decision and every single thing you do.

It's thinking every short message and change in tone of voice or texting is a sign that people hate you.

It's wanting to be accepted by others and seeking validation from others, even when you can't accept and/or love yourself.

It's constantly waiting for something to go wrong.

It's contemplating every single outcome to every decision or choice you make.

It's having difficulty being surprised because you've more or less already thought of this outcome, which sucks a lot because I absolutely love surprises.

It's having trouble sleeping because it feels like your brain just won't switch off.

It's unable to stop worrying, even for things that are out of your control or things that haven't happened yet, no matter how hard you try.

It's tiring and I hate it.
