standing by the ocean at night

is a beautiful experience

the ocean calls out to me

begs me to join the waves

my legs ache to be one with the waves

I stare silently at the rising water

I see myself rush into the waves

I see myself submerged under the waves

I see myself letting go

I see the waves welcome me home
